i have no credit and i dont have a lot of money in my bank account, but i need money for bills..is this the right way to do that?
Answer:
You should think what is more important for now - improving your financial standing or improving your credit. You can apply for a secured credit card, and get a credit limit equal to your bank account amount, but credit won't solve you financial problems, as you'll have to pay the bills. Mind, that irregular payments can seriously damage your credit history. If you feel sure to pay off your credit card, then apply now!

I JUST FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY. I HAD A BUSINESS & A CLIENT DID NOT PAY HIS BILL & I LOST EVERYTHING. $450,000. LONG STORY. ANYWAY. I HAVE NOTHING. I JUST GOT ELECTED TO BE A SHERIFF. I WILL START MAKING ABOUT $70,000 A YEAR. I HAVE NO MONEY IN THE BANK BUT I WANT TO START A FAMILY SOON , BUY A HOUSE ETC. I HAVE ABOUT $5,000 IN CASH NOW. TO GET MY CREDIT SCORE UP SHOULD I GET LIKE 5 SECURED CREDIT CARDS OR JUST GET 1 BIG SECURED CREDIT CARD? I NEED MY CREDIT SCORE TO GO UP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. SORRY I WROTE SO MUCH.
Answer:
first of all you shouldn't despair. You have promising perspective, so your financial affairs will be OK. First of all you should open an account in a bank, after which you'll be able to apply for a secured credit card. It is better to get several credit cards, but not very much. Besides, you are welcome to ask questions concerning your credit and cards.

Hi, I have recently taken out a loan with a bank and have paid it for three months on time. I took the loan out to build my credit score, so that I can apply for a credit card. do you thing that it is too soon to apply?
Answer:
You should analyze your annual income, that is decide if you would afford to pay off the credit card and the loan, as the credit card company will make their decision in the same way. But if you need a small credit limit, you can apply for a credit card according to your credit score.

How can I get credit because I just turned 18 and can't get any credit?
Answer:
You should establish your credit with a secured credit card, for which you should make a bank deposit, and it will determine the credit limit you'll be given.

Answer:
Sorry, we cannot give you an answer to this question as we do not know your current credit rating and the credit card you applied for which in fact determine the credit limit you can be granted. Please, contact the credit card company which you turned to for the credit card and clear out the question.

I have a credit card that i want to transfer the balance from. We would like to transfer this balance to a card my wife gets. All our loans, cards, and cars tend to be in my name. We would like to also build her credit history. Can we transfer a balance from a card that is in my name to one that she applies for? Thanks, jt
Answer:
The matter is that balance transfer credit cards are for good credit, so if your wife has less than good credit score, balance transfer on her credit card will be impossible.

how do i decide if consolidating accounts is good? just because the interest rates on a card may be lower than a bank, what other key issues must i be concerned with?
Answer:
The main drawback of debt consolidation is negative record in your credit report, and lowering your score. It shows that you are not a solvent customer. So think twice before turning to such kind of service.
