Need a Cash Advance - Think about Submitting a Credit Card Application

So, you want to find the best credit card deals? Well, there are all kinds of options out there from rewards credit cards to low APR cards to no fee cards to cash back credit cards so you'll never be short of features. A credit card can be a valuable tool for managing your financial life and it can even help you cancel the need to carry lots of cash on you. The best credit cards work great when you travel or when you stay at home. Make purchases on the internet, at your local retailer or over the phone.

A credit card is a strong financial tool and it's important to use it wisely. There are all sorts of ways you can use your card, whether to make a purchase or even...get cash quickly! The top credit card deals will give you great cash advance options and will allow you to get money out of any ATM at your convenience.

When your credit card is used at an ATM you are in essence using borrowing against your credit. You can also take advantage of this feature by filling out one of the checks that are usually attached to your credit card statements.

These checks can be filled out to anyone so you can use them to pay your rent, bills or personal items. The only thing you have to look out for is that these cash advances often come with fees! Even if you find the best credit card deals you can't expect a card with no fees. Use these cash advances wisely!

Because credit card companies can charge these fees they are more willing then ever to loan money in this form. In fact, cash advances are one of the biggest forms of income for many card companies. They're even more willing to lend money in the form of cash because card holders want it.

If you don't know how your card company figures out your cash advance fees you should either look at your statement or call your card company. Getting the top credit card offers will include getting the best rates on cash advances!

How Much Does My Cash Advance Cost?

Unbeknownst to many cash advance users, accessing their cash actually costs a pretty penny. It doesn't matter if you have excellent credit history or have the ability to get instant online approval or what, cash advances come with fees that are steep compared to normal APRs.

At least when you use your card to buy something at the store you are getting something tangible that will last, such as a computer, a notebook or a watch. When you go to an ATM in order to get out cash you are paying for your own money! While sure, there are some instances where you may need to use a cash advance, but these should be only emergency situations!

Find the best credit card deals because many credit card companies will have at least low rate cards if you have a good credit history. Cash advances will often come with a 20% + cash advance fee. But that's not the only charge a card holder should be worried about.

When it comes to paying off interest, they will have to pay off your lower interest debts before your higher interest debts. This major detail is hidden in small print on your credit card application and simply means if you have a normal APR of 5% but do a cash advance at 20%, you are going to be paying 20% interest longer then you will 5%!

So why do credit card companies charge so much for cash advances? According to them, cash advances cost more for them to process and they are at a higher risk when they do process them. Whether you buy into this or not it doesn't matter because you will have to pay the fees if you use them!

How to Use Cash Advances Wisely

A cash advance can be a very useful tool in a number of different circumstances as well as make your daily life more flexible. The best thing you can do as far as using this tool however is to plan ahead. Planning doesn't just mean finding out when you are going to use your cash advances next, it means fully understanding the consequences of using them with your particular card.

You will most likely have a lower cash advance fee if you have excellent credit and a higher one if you have poor credit. If your credit score is above 720 you may even be able to petition your card company to have your fee lowered, if you use cash advances frequently enough.

Look for deals! Many of the best credit card deals will come out with occasional promos for customers such as periods where cash advance fees are lower. It could be different times of the year or just a random thing but you should look for these. Remember that your credit card company can change their cash advance fees at the drop of a hat- either higher or lower- so make sure you read your statements in full to see if they have added a reminder!

If you are a big user of cash advances you should shop around for online credit card applications to find the best deal at the lowest rates. If you are not happy with your current card, credit card comparisons can help you get a newer, better credit card in your wallet!

Credit Cards as They Are

Active credit card use is a sign of a society with well-developed market relationships. More and more people get involved in buying goods and services with plastics. Using virtual funds to make real purchases is very convenient. But this extended buying power has led Americans to a dangerous trend. Over 40% of American households, according to the USA Federal Reserve statistics, spend more money than they make.

In the average, every American of these 40% spends $1.2 per every $1 he or she earns. Plastics have changed people's spending habits. These plastic devices allow and encourage people to spend more and more money. Around 18% of all purchases made by Americans involve credit card use. Reducing Balance Transfer Fee

If you are determined to eliminate your credit card debts and you have good credit, getting a balance transfer card is a good idea. You can shift your credit card balances with high interest rate to a card with much lower rate or 0% APR at all. But there is one thing that can reduce your profit from this kind of a deal.
